Christian and Macy are a "couple" of climbers in Salt Lake City, Utah. They were raised to love the outdoors doing things like camping, hiking, backpacking and skiing. Then finally in college they both discovered a love for climbing! Christian moved from the icy Eastern winters to SLC for the skiing and film school at the U. Macy grew up in SLC and began attending the U for mechanical engineering.

Macy came up with the idea for Moola and asked Christian to help her make the idea a reality. He was more than happy to jump on board, starting with creating the name "Moola" which comes from the combo of our last names "Moore" and "Ingargiola". After much trial and error, we were able to create a bag design that we are proud of. Our closing system took the longest time to perfect but we are happy to say it works extremely well and haven't had any chalk come through.
